The Gamer's Tavern is a cozy community talking mainly about gaming but not disdaining other topics, fully committed to the Fediverse and owned by Alex and backed by an amazing staff. The main goal of the community is providing gamers a cozy and safe home to play together. The Gamer's Tavern won't ever feed you ads or sell your data, we are against all those BSs and that's why we are active only on Fediverse social medias (Mastodon, Pixelfed, Lemmy, Peertube, Owncast, etc. see the complete list here).

Rules

It's fun to make fun of yourself when it's a game for both sides. Do not exaggerate or touch on sensitive topics that can easily offend the other person (religious, sexual orientation, etc.).

It makes no sense to be in The Gamer's Tavern with the sole purpose of insulting others and being toxic.
We want our community to be a welcoming and respectful space for everyone. To ensure that we ask you to express your opinions repectfully by: - avoiding instigating violence against individuals, groups, etc.; - avoiding personal attacks, insults, or needlessly aggressive tones.
Creators should only upload their own content. It's fine if you upload an image, photo or video containing fragments of other people's content but the overall content must be yours truly.
